I love watching my clients’ children grow up right in front of my camera. This adorable little gentlemen was one of my best bahaved newborn clients ever and he has grown so much in the past six months that it’s almost hard to believe. He was a doll at our studio session this past weekend and his parents are always such a pleasure as well.
If you have a little one of your own that you’d love to capture at any age, Contact me to inquire about current availability.

On January 1st I made the crazy, bold step to start a project 365. It means I’m committing to taking (at least) one photo a day, everyday, for 365 days. So far it’s been amazing to push myself every day to capture a part of our daily life. Here are a few of my favorite images from this past month.

It’s almost 40 degrees here this weekend so we had to take advantage of it and get outside for some fresh air!

Three days before Christmas my family had the amazing good fortune to have our photos taken by Amanda & Nate Howard from The Shalom Imaginative. The session felt more like hanging out with old friends than a photography session and I am in love with everything they made for us. If you’re ever in Los Angeles – or looking for them to travel to you! – you should reach out to them. They are the most lovely people and capture the most perfect memories.

All I do is swim swim swim no matter what
Got water on my mind I can never get enough
And everytime I step up in the club house
Watch them turn the slide on like what…
And I swim there
And I swim there
And I swim there
Jump in, jump out
cause all I do is swim swim swim

My top 14 personal images from 2014. It was a fabulous year filled with swimming and blonde curls!

Two of my favorite things all in one place: my daughter and cheese curds.
Also, my daughter insists on making a “fort” every time we’re out to a restaurant. I’ve learned to just go with it.
