I’ve been in business for many years and I always love finding new locations for family photography sessions but there’s something to be said about tried and true spots that deliver a stunning background year after year. This field, ladies and gentlemen, is one of them.
My go to. My ace in the hole. My rock when clients and I come up empty handed with any other ideas. It’s like your favorite pair of jeans that are always there for you and make you look gorgeous no matter how many times you spill on them or gain and lose those 15 lbs.

I am a momma to an only child myself, and I love photographing big, rowdy families, but there’s something so perfect about two parents and two kids… the symmetry of it all just flows so well. Take this beautiful family for example! Every kid has a parent’s lap to sit on, arms to run to, face to smoosh with kisses; it just works.

I’ll admit that I haven’t been the best at blogging lately, but, I have a good excuse! I’ve been so busy with so many gorgeous families this fall season that I’ve barely had time to share images except with the families themselves. Gorgeous new field location + gorgeous family of five = stunning summer session!
I can’t believe that the Minnesota State Fair is here which means school is almost here which means summer is over!!! Nooooo!!! Alas, all good Minnesota summers must come to an end but, oh what a wait to go, right? This family was up for an adventure and hike into the park reserve we went. The weather was perfect and the sun cooperated brilliantly to create the perfect family photography session.
