With the way 2020 has gone, I think we could all use some happy news, so how about we kick off the holiday season with my annual Black Friday Sale!
Same as I’ve done for the past two years, this year’s sale requires NO PASSWORD, NO PROMO CODES, and NO FACEBOOK! NEW for this year, is the option to have your Black Friday Petite Session at THREE different field locations or an urban spot in Downtown Anoka.
How: Simply click HERE to pre-register and the sale will go live at midnight on Thanksgiving night!
What: Up for grabs are FIVE sessions for only $395 that can be used anytime in 2021.
Details: Petite Sessions are 30 minutes long and take place at various gorgeous fields in the NW Metro or an urban spot in historic downtown Anoka, about 45 minutes before sunset. Sessions generally yield at least five to six dozen images, if not more, all images come in color and black & white and are delivered via digital download. Fall in Minnesota means family photos galore! This was the first time I had the pleasure of photographing this family but I’ve actually known the mom and dad since middle school which, seems like yesterday, but math seems to indicate it was almost 30 years ago now so… rude. Time you are a weird, weird thing! Anyway, this big brother was the sweetest and helped his little brother and sister get in the spirit of it all and we ended up shooting past sunset because it was just too nice of an evening to waste.

A quick mini session at a special location for this family just so happened to fall on the most perfect evening! I was even stopped by a gentlemen and asked, “what’s with all the photographers?” Ha! It’s fall and it’s lovely and it’s the Stone Arch Bridge area of Minneapolis my good sir, the place is going to be crawling with family and senior photo sessions. This little love bug always makes me work for those smiles but I mean, cmon, she is so worth it!

This lovely family of five were just the sweetest ever. Normally with multiple little kids I have to work a bit for those genuine smiles and loving interactions but with these kids? No work on my end! I just had to stand behind the camera and click fast enough to keep up with their joy at there family session in Champlin this fall. This field is so versatile and lovely year ground; super green in the summer, golden brown in the fall, and even pretty covered in snow in the winter! That’s all it takes to get dozens of good images if you’re kids (and husband!) will cooperate.
A mini session isn’t for everyone but it can be amazing for so many situations, like this gorgeous family with two bigger kids who listen well and can take direction.
