Christmas studio minis are finally hear! I have never offered holiday minis before but this year just seemed right to have some non-weather dependent offerings, so here we are 🙂

What: Holiday Studio Mini Sessions

When: Saturday, December 3, 2022

Where: 1621 East Hennepin Ave #130, Minneapolis, MN 55414

Cost: $245 for a 15 minute session

Set Up: The studio has natural light, clean white walls, hardwood floors, a couch for family photos, and these minis will have full décor with Christmas trees, rugs, pillows etc.

Details: 15 minute sessions are perfect for immediate families with kids who listen and take direction well. For larger families, families with children who need time to warm up, families wanting to bring a pet, or families who want to bring along other families members, such as grandparents, please consider booking two back-to-back slots.

As always, all sessions include unlimited images that we can capture during our time together in both color and black & white and will be delivered via digital download. All images will be returned within 5 days to give ample time to order and send holiday cards before Christmas.

I have been capturing this adorable family since they only had one toddler and now look – three! I have had more extended family sessions this year than I can ever remember having before and I love it! The pandemic seems to be in the rearview and families are once again able to travel to be together and they are making sure to capture the special occasion with a professional family photography session. This session, which took place just west of the Twin Cities in the far Plymouth area included family members from as far away as Montana. The Minnesota summer evening did not disappoint and we had a great time splashing around.

I just love the families that come to me for their senior photos from SPA. They are always so hip yet down-to-earth, have a great vision for their images and then let me run with it. Well, we blinked and this little girl turned one. It seems like just yesterday I was doing her newborn photos and now she’s a walking, smiling, toddler! Summers are great for warm weather and lovely sunsets, but they can also be challenging for family photography session start times. The rule of thumb is the best light for an outdoor session is the hour or so before sunset. Here in the Twin Cities in the summer? That’s well past 9:00pm! I don’t know too many little ones who can stay up that late but, never fear, the amazing field I use for my Petite Sessions can be used at all hours of the day.

Winter sessions with snow? Cute. Spring sessions with mud and rain? Not cute. Studio session to the rescue! This extended family of 26 people opted for a studio Deluxe Session and it was perfection. The kids were so well behaved and the natural light cooperated like a champ. Best part? No watching the forecast all day!

Pandemic babies but make it times two! These brothers, both born during these crazy COVID times, are just about the cutest duo ever and have the cutest names ever. I don’t share names of my clients in blog posts but trust me, they are too cute. We had this in-home newborn photography session last weekend and the bright sun and clear skies cooperated perfectly. I’m sure mom and dad can’t wait to watch their bond grow as these brothers get older.
