It seems like this sweet family just had their maternity session this spring and we blinked and baby girl number two had arrived! I only ever had my one daughter but, if we would have had more, I would have loved for another girl so we could have sweet sisters like these two. Spring is in the air and the snow is maybe, finally, kinda, really, sorta gone. Yay! Here in the Twin Cities that means budding flowers and longer nights and a return of outdoor photography sessions. This adorable family opted for a custom Grow With Me Plan to capture baby girl number two joining them and we started with maternity photos at the Elm Creek Reserve in Champlin.
I’d be lying if I said the majority of my clients didn’t have children but, every so often, I get the pleasure to work with a couple and I just love love love it. Kids have a way of stealing the show at family sessions – as they should – but getting to focus on just two adults and, in the case of this fall session, an adorable dog? Sign me up!

Christmas studio minis are finally hear! I have never offered holiday minis before but this year just seemed right to have some non-weather dependent offerings, so here we are 🙂
What: Holiday Studio Mini Sessions
When: Saturday, December 3, 2022
Where: 1621 East Hennepin Ave #130, Minneapolis, MN 55414
Cost: $245 for a 15 minute session
Set Up: The studio has natural light, clean white walls, hardwood floors, a couch for family photos, and these minis will have full décor with Christmas trees, rugs, pillows etc.
Details: 15 minute sessions are perfect for immediate families with kids who listen and take direction well. For larger families, families with children who need time to warm up, families wanting to bring a pet, or families who want to bring along other families members, such as grandparents, please consider booking two back-to-back slots.
As always, all sessions include unlimited images that we can capture during our time together in both color and black & white and will be delivered via digital download. All images will be returned within 5 days to give ample time to order and send holiday cards before Christmas.
